Yeah, write, right?
So much for making this my journal of being in Cork, Ireland. We have been so busy between writing and classes and traveling on the weekends that I haven't even thought about getting on here to note what has been happening. I guess though, that is good. Being busy learning and having adventures that I can use as fodder for future stories is really what this trip is all about, aside from the learning. Did I mention that my classes are great. They are. I am having a great time. It is hard to believe we are already more than half way through the program. Still so much to do and see and write. Tomorrow we get to meet with an agent and hear some first hand knowledge of the publishing world. Until then, back to my homework. Blessings.

First full day in Ireland
Finally arrived in Cork, Ireland for my first Summer Abroad Workshops with University of New Orleans Low-Res Writing Program. Got acquainted with some of my fellow students and had a quick tour of some important places in Cork. Tesco - the grocery/everything else store. Oliver Plunkett - our nightly reading/film watching/pub meeting place. And what bus (#208) to catch to get into the city, to Tesco, and back to campus.
I am hoping to update on a regular basis here, making this sort of a blogging journal of my trip. Now, breakfast...
