I’ve
been feeling the need to do something, anything. I have decided to create a
month’s worth (maybe more) of daily prayers and meditations that I can use (and
others may use if they wish) as I walk through the next few weeks, months, or even
years of health issues within my family and friends.
Out
of simplicity they will be numbered for reference but they certainly don’t need
to be used in order. In fact, I may on some days roll dice to see which one to
read. I may choose to read the one that corresponds with the hour or minute on
the clock. I will simply trust that the one I need the most will be the one
that comes to the front.
All
of these have been inspired by someone’s words or writings. Some ideas are from one of the
wisdom keepers in my life. When a source is known, I will footnote it. When it
is common knowledge or a well-known saying, I probably won’t bother. All of
these have at one time inspired me and hopefully will again. Maybe they will
also inspire or help others, especially those in my life who I feel like I
can’t do anything else for, at the moment.
