This is true for me today. I hope it’s true for me for all of my tomorrows. There was a time in the past that this would not have been true. Some days life doesn’t feel great. Some days it doesn’t seem like it’s a good day to be anywhere. The thing is, life has always been a challenge and it always will be. If it wasn’t it really wouldn’t be worth living. There is nothing in my life today that didn’t require something of me. Hawkwalker taught me to recognize that anything or anyone I give my time to I am actually giving them a piece of my life. If that entity or enterprise isn’t worth a piece of my life, then I need to reevaluate my choices. When I am spending time with friends, I am telling them that they are worth a piece of my life. What I’m choosing to do today is worth a piece of my life.
